Newest Doctors in America!
Our nation received the gift of nearly 80 newly minted M.D.s today during the Class of 2020 Early Graduation Oath Ceremony. You each have left an indelible mark on our community. A special thank you to Drs. Jordan Franke, Madison Edens, Lauren Williams and Staci Leisman for bringing the community together with such joy and pride.
New Elective Offering
Spotlight on mentor specific elective offerings:
- The Department of Psychiatry outpatient program is looking for 4-5 medical students who can provide emotional support and phone outreach to adult and child psychiatric patients via telephone or video. Students will also serve as a liaison between patients and providers. It runs from April 21- June 26. For 1 week elective credit. Mentor Dr. James.
- Physician-Patient Communication, Health Equity and Patient-Centered Care Project seeks students to conduct a literature reviews to design and develop curricular enhancements. Mentor Dr. Poliandro.
