USMLE Step 1 Update
Yesterday, the USMLE announced their plan for Step 1 score reporting after the change to pass/fail scoring in 2022. Key points:

This means that P/F scores will be mixed with three digit scores in residency applications over the next few cycles. We do not know yet how this will be perceived by residency program directors, but the Office of Student Affairs will be proactively monitoring the situation and will provide guidance as appropriate.

Step 1 will change to pass/fail scoring no earlier than January 1, 2022. An exact date is still not known. If you have specific questions about when to take Step 1 and/or how to prepare, feel free to consult your Faculty Advisor or Lauren Linkowski in the Office of Student Affairs.

If you have a specific question about your specialty interest and/or development toward your career, feel free to consult your Faculty Advisor or Dr. Monica Dweck in the Office of Student Affairs.
