Free Windows SAS 9.4

For this year only we are able to provide students SAS 9.4 (Windows version) free of charge to students for this year only. There are a number of conditions that will apply.

Students will need to bring windows laptops to ASCIT, as this cannot be handled remotely. SAS requires 10 - 15 gigabytes of disk space including documentation, and could take approximately 1 to 3 hours to install depending on the machine. We will also need to enable administrative rights in case the laptops is locked down.

System Requirements:

Space Requirements:

As part of the first phase of the Library’s re-opening, ASCIT will be open by appointment only on weekdays from 9am – 1pm beginning June 29. Students may make an appointment by contacting ASCIT at 212.241.7091 or ascit@mssm.edu. Depending on the number of students who want to take advantage of this opportunity, we will likely need to solicit the assistance of our colleagues in Desktop Support.

Please keep in mind that our on-site resources are very limited, so we may not be able to satisfy all requests in the near term, depending on the level of interest.

Class of 2022

Well Wishes to Class of 2022! You’re Off!

It was great to see you during InFocus 5 and although our classroom interaction was different than years before, we feel confident that you are prepared for your first day and the year ahead. Remember, this day is what you’ve been most eager to achieve since arriving to medical school. Your patients will be your best educators – listen to them, be present with them, thank them.

A shout out to the IF5 faculty and staff and the curriculum affairs leadership who worked to make the best of a most challenging situation.

When you get a moment, send a note of appreciation to clerkships@mssm.edu and thank them for caring for your safety and learning experience.
