Commemoration Ceremony

Save this date: June 25th from 4-5:30pm

We will come together as a community to commemorate and honor the many lives we’ve lost during the last few months - lives lost as a result of COVID directly/indirectly and lives lost as a result of racism and police brutality. Part of our programming will include an opportunity to share readings and reflections. The readings and reflections can be read by you or if you prefer, someone else can read for you.

Each creative piece should be less than a minute long. These contributions can be your own creative piece, or created by someone else. Pieces can be an art piece, a song, poem, essay, etc. or any creative piece that inspires you and is appropriate for the occasion.

If you would like to read your own piece, please submit a video recording of you reading the piece, or if you rather someone else read the piece for you, please submit the piece directly.

Either way, please submit all contributions via this google form here and submit by June 22.

We know there is a lot to cover from questions received since our last gathering and more as you prepare to restart clinical activities, residency application, etc.

MSPE Meetings Your Faculty Advisor has begun the process of scheduling review meetings with you. This is one of several opportunities to review and discuss the document before the Office of Student Affairs finalizes the document by the October 21 release date.

Elective Questions? While the elective scheduling resumes soon, remember that Dr. Beverly Forsyth is available to help you think through timing, scheduling and anything else for which you have questions.

Virtual Interviews: You Got This!
The Office of Student Affairs is planning a virtual interview workshop to get you ready to look, sound and perform to your best. While the workshop will be held during InFocus 8, alternative experiences will be provided to anyone interviewing in the Pathway to Residency program and those who have Step 2CK conflicts during InFocus 8. We look forward to this new roll out with you!
