DACA and LGTBQ Rulings
This week we have experienced two historic moments in American history: the Supreme Court’s decision to reject the Administration’s effort to dismantle the DACA program and Monday’s ruling that affirms federal law protects LGBTQ workers from discrimination.
In this moment, we find ourselves making room for hope to reenergize our efforts to organize, advocate, and hold ourselves and leadership accountable for making the systemic changes necessary to achieve racial justice and equity for all of our students.
We join you all in solidarity and are filled with hope.
