MS4 Early Graduation Update

The early graduation proposal is currently under review with ISMMS GME leadership and others. We look forward to sharing more soon.

MS3 Remaining Q&A from Town Hall

The questions that were unanswered at last week’s MS3 Town Hall are currently under review by your class representatives. We are anticipating sending these out in the next day or so.

MS3 Step 2CK Preparation

You have two options to earn the two weeks of elective credit for the Step 2CK preparation course and while students may participate in both options, elective credit will only be given one time. Registration information will be sent in the near future.

  1. The live online Step 2CK course will be offered from June 8 thru 19, 2020.
  2. Starting this week, the Step 2 CK course from last year will be posted on Blackboard. You must watch the videos and submit a score report for a practice test to Lauren Linkowski by a date to be determined.

Summer Research and Funding

The Medical Student Research Office (MSRO) is continuing to move forward with preparations for summer research and funding. Students who have submitted an abstract in ScholarOne or who have been in communications with Drs. Lin or Rojas about their interests in Summer Funding will receive funding. You are still required to submit your FAFSA application by April 15.

To lessen the stress on everyone, we suspended the following two SCHOLaR milestones:

  1. April 3 (listed in some places as 4/10): Contact track advisor regarding Summer abstract
  2. April 30: Submit Final 300-word Summer Research Proposal in ScholarOne system
