MS4 Early Graduation
As shared with the Class of 2020 this evening, an early graduation date of April 15th has been approved given the unique and specific COVID-19 workforce demands. Only students who have matched at Mount Sinai will be eligible to begin clinical work in our Health System.
The MS4 Town Hall tomorrow evening will provide the opportunity to clarify any remaining questions and to discuss the timeline by which a student must decide if this is the right option for them. Otherwise, May 15th remains as the conferral date.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Must have completed the online equivalent of all required rotations, including the sub-internship, Intro to Internship, and Emergency Medicine by April 10.
- Must have grades for all previous clerkships and electives submitted by April 10.
- Must resolve all outstanding financial obligations.
- Must complete the ISMMS check-out process, which will be available online in the coming days.
