IF SOMEONE TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19:

Individuals who have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results are required to self-isolate pending those results. If positive, they cannot work for at least 10 days from the onset of symptoms. A person is able to resume normal activities after 10 days of symptom onset, or 10 days from positive test if asymptomatic, AND if they have been consistently afebrile (temperature < 100 degrees Fahrenheit) for at least 72 hours without taking fever reducing medications (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen), along with resolving other respiratory symptoms. No repeat testing is required to return to school.
