WELLNESS: PET THERAPY
Session Description: Medical school is an exciting and challenging time. Along with these challenges come new sources of anxiety and stress. While learning to help patients care for themselves, it may seem as though we neglect our own health and well-being in the name of success. Third year students adjusting to clinical rotations may deal with real issues of life and death for the first time, as well as the stress that comes along with deciding on a specialty. Moreover, literature has shown that our health practices affect not only our own health, but also the way we, as doctors, advise our patients about important lifestyle issues. Remember, although stress is a necessary part of life, it does not have to prohibit well-being.
Location: Annenberg 13th floor Lounge from 2:30-3:30pm
