EBM LEC
Session Description: Practicing EBM is a crucial skill for the wards on all clerkships. This session will focus on: 1) a review of what has been covered thus far in the EBM curriculum, 2) a discussion of different types of questions and information needs that arise on the wards, and 3) a discussion of how to select resources that are likely to yield accurate, evidence-based information and do so in a timely manner

Understand how asking clinical questions and acquiring best available evidence fits within the EBM framework/process. Differentiate between background and foreground questions. Select the appropriate resource to use for a given information need.
