Session Description: Deciding on a field to specialize in may be anxiety provoking for some medical students in year 3. However the process should not be. This session prepares you to anticipate certain milestones towards making this decision and to provide you with the requisite knowledge towards this goal less stressful as possible.

- List the major milestones for the next 18 months
- Describe the requirements and opportunities for the 4th year
- Strategize about how and when to apply for fourth year electives
- Reflect about career planning and specialty choice as you rotate on your clerkships
- Anticipate the Residency Application Process
- Identify what you should be doing now, and what you should be doing later
