UNDERSTANDING YOUR ROLE AS AN ADVOCATE FOR BETTER LEARNING AND PATIENT CARE
Session Description: Third year is challenging because students frequently have to adapt their behaviors to match the expectations of their team members. Those expectations are often more implicit than explicit. This is sometimes referred to as “the hidden curriculum.” Those expectations may not always align with other competing interests, like doing what is best for the patient, learning, and getting enough time for rest. In this session we will discuss what concerns you most about your roles and what you are most looking forward to.
