SIM - Adult
Session Description: In this SIM session a discussion of the differential diagnosis of tachycardia will be conducted. The definitions of SIRS, sepsis, severe sepsis, septic shock will also be discussed. We will also present the risk of sepsis in the Mount Sinai Hospital as well as the trend toward decreased mortality. We will also practice the Stop Sepsis algorithm and the role of the screening criteria for possible sepsis in adult patients.
